Welcome to the Newcastle Interactive Community Map!

• Search by address. You can search for individual properties by using the search bar in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

• What do the symbols mean? The legend tab in the sidebar on the left-hand side of the page will show you what the symbols in the map are illustrating.

• To add a comment on the map:

  • Zoom to the location on the map where you would like to add a comment or enter an address, then select Edit in the sidebar on the left side of the screen. Next, select Add Feature, then click on the map to add a point. You will have the option to select which type of category your comment falls under, which include Big Bold Idea, Special Place, Challenge, and General Comment.

  • Once you add your point, select the category of your comment under Type, then in the box below, type your comment.

  • Once you click the Add button, your icon and comment will be added to the map. Please be respectful, as everyone can see them comments you share.

  • After placing your comment, if you would like to add a photo, please select your comment, then select edit. From here, you will be able to attach a photo.
